Role: Specialist Vascular Surgeon
Required number : 1
Working hours : 48 hours per week
Salary range: Around AED 55,000 per month (depending upon qualifications and experience) – the salary mentioned is the total fix monthly income (it already includes all fixed allowances).
Other benefits : Incentives based on revenue (the doctor can earn a substantial amount per month based on incentives – minimum is AED 10,000 regardless of revenue), yearly air ticket to home country, medical insurance, 30 calendar days of paid leave per year, 5 days of paid leave per year to attend CME trainings, yearly contribution towards the payment of CME trainings.
Housing During the first 2 weeks in Dubai accommodation will be provided.
Others :The employer will apply and pay for the DHCC license on behal of the successful candidate; the employer will pay the flight ticket
to Dubai if candidate is recruited from abroad.
Requirements:
· Completion of a recognized higher professional education programme.
· Certification of higher professional education recognized by Dubai Healthcare City: MRCS plus CCST, FRCS, or American Board Certification, or FRCPSC, or FRACP, or equivalent recognized by the Dubai Healthcare City.
· Minimum of five years’ experience gained after achieving the higher qualification.
· Training and experience in endo-vascular techniques.
· Three years’ experience as a Consultant in a Western hospital setting is preferred.
· Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.
· Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of vascular surgery.
· Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other staff.
· Ability to project a positive public image of self, department and the hospital.
· Publication in peer reviewed journals is desirable.
Key Outputs:
· Provides comprehensive consultation and operative services care in vascular surgery,performs a wide range of reconstructive and restorative operations, including endovascular techniques.
· Provides patient care according to current best-evidence based standards.
· Participation in the vascular service of the Hospital which includes support and collaboration with the Interventional Radiologist.
· Participates in planning and review activities relevant to vascular services at the hospital.
· Participates in activities and opportunities to promote the vascular services of the hospital to the general public and wider medical community of Dubai and the UAE.
